Automatic post thumbnails stopped working a while ago – any help?
-
In the past the theme I used has always automatically made a thumbnail for each new post based off the first image I use in the article. The thumbnail was used on the main home page of the site, as well as when you browse by categories of articles.
A while back that stopped working. All the old posts still work fine and still have their thumbnail image where it should be, but for the past few months any new posts I write don’t – there is now just nothing in that space.
Examples: daydull.com home page, each article should have a thumbnail image to the left of it.
Daydull sort by category page – another example, toward the bottom the images are appearing correctly, but all the newer posts towards the top have no image thumbnail.
I’m not sure when exactly this started. It might have been from upgrading wordpress, but I’m not sure. I hadn’t made any changes that I think would cause something like this to happen so I’m at a loss. I tried looking through the theme CSS files but can’t see what might be wrong or how I would fix it.
Thanks for any help!

Hi there,
It looks like you have a self hosted WordPress.org website and not one hosted on WordPress.com.
This is the forum for WordPress.com.
For help with WordPress.org websites please see here: https://wordpress.org/support/
To learn about the difference between the two please see here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
Hope it helps.
