Automatic renewall not activated but still used

Yesterday I received an email telling me that auto renewal was going to happen that day. I had NO prior warning of this. Before I could attend to this my blog was automatically renewed by you despite me never having agreed to auto renewal (this status is still showing on my account today) I have never accepted auto renewal and never wish to do so. Taking my money without my consent is illegal. Taking it one month ahead of when it is due to be paid is immoral and corrupt.
I would like you to refund in full and explain why your system completely disregarded my wishes before I take further action.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I am happy to help you with a refund. There is no problem on that end. However, I need to ask if you have any intention of manually renewing prior to the expiration date, or if you intend to let the domain thestickerandsignshop.com expire?
We auto renew domains 30 days before their expiration date. Why? Since letting a domain expire means you may not be able to get it back in the future, we want to ensure that everything is taken care of in advance. We do send out notification emails before charging your card, as we try not to surprise anyone. This is mentioned in the “my upgrades” support document and when you set up your auto-renewal. But it can also be easy to miss, so I understand the confusion.

I have no intention of renewing as the blog has served its purpose already. This was the reason I ignored your email advising of it’s impending renewal. I had not agreed to auto renewal. You did not give me any warning of the payment being taken on the same day despite this and so I would like a full refund and for the blog to lapse at its expiration date. I do not wish to renew manually or automatically.
The surprise was that you charged my card on the same day as the notification despite me never having agreed to auto renew.

We do not automatically set up auto renew for users. So I’m not sure what happened there. I do apologize for the surprise.
