automatic sign-on gone

I received an email about a new plug in and now when I bring up my site I’m not automatically signed in.
The email is from wordpress@myname. Is someone messing with me? If not, how do I get my automatic sign-in back up? Thanks for any help.

Hi there! It looks like your site is not hosted with WordPress.com anymore but instead a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org ) but hosted at GoDaddy.

We cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. But, I can get you pointed in the right direction.

    The email is from wordpress@myname.

When you have a WordPress installation on your own hosting server, your install will send you emails about your install using the (email visible only to moderators and staff) format – it’s just informational emails about your site.

Regarding your login – your login cookie likely expired and you’d need to log in again at your site’s login page.

If you still have trouble, please reach out to the WordPress community for guidance:

    I hope that helps!
