Automatic (unwanted) movement of scrollbar

Whenever I edit a post in WordPress.com, the scrollbar does one of two things:
1. It automatically bounces back to the top of the box, regardless of where my cursor is; or
2. It moves to the point where the cursor is along the very bottom line of the box.Both are very frustrating!
It would be nice for the scrollbar to remain still while I type somewhere in the middle of the box, just like what’s happening as I write this.
I have noticed it after getting a new laptop that runs Windows 7 (instead of XP). I could be a Windows thing, but I’ve tried everything with no luck.
Any ideas?

It’s an IE thing. While on the editor page, set your browser into compatibility view as explained in this link which should make the problem go away.
