Automatically rotating header
-
The Dyad2 theme demo suggests that there is a rotating banner or a clickable banner on the main page however even though I inserted the images, it displays as a static image and no option for rotation.
Please help. How can I get the arrow buttons set-up like the Dyad2 demo where you can see multiple banner images?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The Dyad2 theme demo suggests that there is a rotating banner or a clickable banner on the main page
I think you’re referring to the featured content slider. How to set that feature up is described and illustrated in the Featured Content Slider section of the Dyad 2 theme guide.

However, the Dyad 2 featured content slider doesn’t rotate through the featured content posts automatically, so perhaps you’re referring to something else. Where in the Dyad 2 demo, or in the Dyad 2 theme guide, do you find the suggestion that “there is a rotating banner or a clickable banner on the main page?”

Hi there! The slider in Dyad and Dyad 2 only appears if you have your front page set to display your latest posts. Your site is currently set to display a static page as the homepage. You can change that in your Customizer‘s Static Front Page panel.
Afterthat, click on the Featured Content panel in the Customizer and enter a word in the field there, like featured. Finally, add this same tag (i.e. featured) as a tag on each post you’d like to include in the slider, and make sure each post has a large featured image.
As musicdoc1 said (thank you for helping!) the full guide to setting up the slider in Dyad 2 is found in the showcase here: https://wordpress.com/theme/dyad-2
Just let us know if you get stuck at any point.
