Automatically Update Pages

  Here’s what I’m trying to do:

  Each time I publish a post, I’d like to have my homepage automatically generate a link to that new post (with a predetermined image and caption) versus having to manually add such content in. Any help is appreciated!

  Have you consulted those instructions and used them?

  Featured Images on single pages and posts will replace any Custom Header.

  Hi there,

  WordPress sites do this automatically, but it appears you’ve changed this on your site to have your front page display a static page instead of your recent posts.

  The only way to do this if you have your site’s front page set to a static page is to add the Display Posts shortcode on your front page:

  Display Posts Shortcode

  Note this shortcode will only display up to 100 posts.
