That’s a reference to WordPress.ORG software installs. @timethief I know that as of right now one cannot use WooCommerce for WP.com sites—and that the business upgrade only allows connections to third-party e-commerce services. However, this news could be a strong indicator that Automattic intends to add native e-commerce functionality for WP.com sites.

Several people asked Matt the same question on his blog when the announcement came out.
The short answer is we don’t have any concrete plans for WordPress.com integration at the moment, but its a possibility for the future.
