Automattic Domain Manager
-
Hellooooooo,
We bought our domain name through wordpress.com, with a quick whois request I have found that it was registered through Automattic. I would like to change the nameservers on that domain now, but for the life of me I can’t find a domain management url for the automattic domain manager.
Can anyone help?
Kind regards,
Adam
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi timethief – thanks for taking the time to get back to me, but no they don’t. I have looked at both of these. I do not have the “Domain Administration” option on my page. From what I have read on the other posts from the numerous other posts on similar problems I need to deal directly with the domain registrar, but as I said I can’t find the details for Automattic’s domain manager anywhere!
Kindest
Adam

I thought that would be the case as there’s another thread with 2 bloggers in it with the same issue. So I flagged this thread for Staff attention for you.

I don’t see any domain registrations on your account.
First, you’ll need to be logged in as the user who purchased the domain.
Then, you can update the nameservers to point to your hosting provider’s nameservers following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/#update-nameservers

staff-blorbo Hi! This is the account we bought the .com with and I don’t have any option to see Domain Administration. We have recently renewed it and just want to point it elsewhere.

The above account account initially purchased the domain, but a different account under the blog actually renewed it, so that account now owns it.
