Automattic domain transfer
-
Hi, I need to transfer my domain form automattic to bluehost but I can’t find any way to contact them to get an EPP code, have it unlock ect.
Can someone please tell me how to do this?
(domain is lindsaybodhi.com) -
Hi there,
That domain is owned by a different account than the one you’re currently logged in. You need to log in to that other account and then follow these instructions to transfer your domain:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/
If you’re not able to access that other account please follow our Account Recovery guide:
-
I don’t have another account. This is the only account details I have, but I can see that there are no domain details attached to it. Where has it gone? How can I access it ? I don’t want it to expire and I don’t know if the cc is still valid for the renewal.

We have a tool to help in this type of situation:
Can you give it a try and see if that gains you access to that other account?
Otherwise please try the various methods in the Account Recovery guide:

This is really strange. I’ve checked all my email addresses, bank accounts and statements and I cannot find ANY documentation or debits anywhere. the only reason I know its up for renewal is because Bluehost notified me.
How is this possible? How is my domain still running and how am I supposed to gain access to it now? I know that back in 2016 we switched from wordpress.org to wordpress.com is there a chance that it got lost somewhere along the way?

Hi there,
No, it didn’t get lost, it’s just under a different account, as my colleagues mentioned above.
We’re not able to disclose any details so please, either check out this page and fill out the Account Recovery form: https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery, or, email our Account Recovery team directly at
passwordhelp@wordpress.com.I’m afraid there’s nothing more we can do for you here, on the public forums.

I’ve replied to the email ticket you submitted, so I’m closing this thread as a duplicate.
