Automical renewal and cancellation

I noticed my credit card was charged recently and logging into word press it was an automatic renewal for an annual plan. I did not receive an email and having not used it for a year I do not want it for another year!!! As it was done 30 days prior my actual new one does not start unfortunately 15 more days but trying to cancel or find a refund button seems impossible! I have deleted the domain but have not had an email or see anything about a refund. It seems awful that a year of no activity activity and a company still auto charges and makes me hard to get a refund and not continue with it.

By default, WordPress.com plans, domains, and other subscriptions are set to automatically renew to ensure there’s no disruption in your services, loss of features, or loss of your custom domain name. We also send a number of emails in advance of that renewal to the email address on file with your account to alert you of this renewal. You can read more about automatic renewal here:

Most subscriptions can be canceled for a refund within 14 days of purchase or renewal, or 7 days for subscriptions that are billed monthly. The exception here is for domain purchases or renewals, which is 96 hours to request a refund. It looks like you deleted your plan past the 14 day refund period which is why you don’t have the refund option available.

No it does not clarify it because the automical renewal starts 30 days before the plan actually starts?
How can I not cancel something that has not even started yet and I was not notified of a payment being taken.
Surely I have 14 days from the start of the plan I have had money taken 30 days before a plan starts. No where can I find details to dispute this either? Please can someone give me a contact detail for me to actually dispute this.

The transaction ID needed will be on your bank statement as
WordPressfollowed by a letter/number code. They’ll look like this:WordPress XXXXXXXXXXI hope that helps!
