AutoPlay on Soundcloud Embed

  I have embedded a soundcloud track, and it is integral to have it auto play. The current coding I have in there is as follows:
  [soundcloud url='https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/202822563' params='color=#6b0909&auto_play=true hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false&show_teaser=true&visual=true' width='10%' height='100' iframe='true' /]
  However, it does not autoplay when the page loads.

  Hey there,

  It seems as though the auto-play function not working is a browser specific issue and will not work on both Chrome and Safari, however in my test case it did work in Firefox. As far as I am aware there is no work around for this but I see modlook has been tagged so always worth a second opinion.

  Hi there, I’ve tested a few shortcodes on my site, and while they seem to start to play, they immediately stop.

  I copied a code directly from Soundcloud from some other music. Instead of autoplaying, it shows me an ad and says it will get back to the track in 10 seconds, and then it does not autoplay.

  We’ll need to troubleshoot this a bit to sort it out:

  – When did this problem start happening for you? Was it working before, then stopped, or is this the first time you’ve tried to use it?

  – Can you copy and paste the iframe code you got from Soundcloud? I’ll use it on my test site to see if I can sort this out.
