  I am using the free website service and was wanting a video to automatically play when a person opened the site, how do I do that?

  When I added ?autoplay=1 to the embed code, it did not work (is that because I have the free website service?) and I eventually lost all my content on the site while working on this somehow and had to rebuild. Would like to avoid doing that again and any help would be appreciated!

  Hi there,

  Which site is this for? I see you have a few on your account. Can I see the video you added on your homepage?  Or is it a specific place I need to look at?  

  Happy to take a look at your embed and see why autoplay is not working. Thanks for pointing it out!

  Hi again,

  I should also add that some browsers will block autoplay content automatically, even if you have embedded properly. For example Google Chrome has a pretty extensive auto-play policy: https://developers.google.com/web/updates/2017/09/autoplay-policy-changes

  It may be the case that the browser is blocking your video from playing and if that is the case there is no workaround you can use on this end to get around that.
