autorenewal
-
I just received an email telling me my account was charged for autorenewal, one month before it expires, however I did not wish for this. I understand that I did not disable autorenewal, but when I went in to cancel the upgrade, immediately after receiving notification, I am told it is not possible, because it my domain is 11 months old. It appears that because I have been charged for an autorenewal one month early, I can now not apply for a cancelation, because my store shows that I have passed the 48 hour period. The 48 hour period being from the time I first purchased my domain. 11 months ago! How infuriating and can someone please cancel my domain for me or point me in the direction of someone who can? Thank you. It has been less than 24 hours since this upgrade and I wish it cancelled so I can delete the blog.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Although we get the full time we paid for all l domain mapping upgrades are commenced 1 month prior to expiry so if anything goes wrong we do not lose our domains. Losing a domain is infuriating because removing a domain URL means every link to our content in search engines and everywhere else they are found on the internet produces a 404 (page not found) when clicked.

Notes:
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

I Appreciate your reply, however you’ve missed my point. I already went into my dashboard > store > my upgrades and it won’t allow me to cancel, even though the upgrade went through only today. It is telling me that my 48 hour period has passed. In fact it is telling me that I am 11months too late. And next to that it is telling me that my domain upgrade will expire in 13 months. As I have already said, if the upgrade only went through in the last day, I’m not sure why it isn’t allowing me to cancel. It sincerely hope this is an oversight and nothing dodgy is going on. I can’t be both 11 months into my last upgrade and 13 months away from expiring, with no option to cancel, when the upgrade only just went through.

I can cancel your domain and refund your payment.
Before I do that, do you plan to use slowishly.com with another website?
If so, rather than canceling it you will want to transfer it. Once a domain is cancelled it goes through a lengthy process which makes it difficult, and sometimes impossible for the original owner to get it back.
I’m happy to help you either way, just let me know which way you want to go.
