Autosave and Revision history lost

I edited a post in my assignments yesterday with a significant amount of work, however all of my edits have no disappeared even though I was connected and the system had performed multiple autosaves. When I relogged into wordpress my edits were completely gone. I checked the revisions and initially my previous edits from yesterday were present however when I went to restore them they were gone again. Can you please find out what is going on and restore my edits?
