Autosave Draft Delay

  Just noticing that with the new WordPress.com Editor, the AutoSave Draft button does not update immediately. I.e. Sometimes when the Saved tick is shown, I attempt to exit the Editor to the Posts page, and I am prompted:

  “Leave Site? Changes that you made may not be saved.”

  Can I simply save draft and exit?

  Hi nondualcertitude,

  Which browser and version number (can be found on supportdetails.com) are you using when this happens?

  If you aren’t sure whether the post has saved or not, it might be worth copying the content into another program, just to be safe for now. If you manually click Save Draft and try leaving the post, does the same happen then? Or does this only happen with autosaving?

  Would you be able to send the name of the post or page you’ve had trouble with most recently?
