Autosave fail: lost 700 words after hitting publish (including from Revisions)

  I’ve been working on a 1000 word post (300 already saved as draft) and when I finished the post and hit Publish, WordPress published only the 300 saved words but nothing more. I had Autosave turned on, but the content I wrote dissapeared form the Revisions also.

  I really worked hard for that article and it is of great personal value for me. Please tell me I can recover the lost data.

  Why on Earth don’t people type this stuff OFF-LINE and save a copy locally before trying to post?

  I usually do so. But this time, I felt like I could trust the platform, for once :)
