Autosave not working, timestamps on revisions inconsistent
-
I wrote a blog post of over 1,000 words and scheduled it to post a few minutes later. I then clicked over to another window and went to check on the blog, and a version had posted that was only 339 words long.
I tried to figure out how to check whether a previous version had been saved, and finally found the revisions page. I checked the revisions feature, and on the one at the bottom of the page, it said that there was a version saved at 16:58, which was the last time I had saved the whole thing. It showed the proper amount of minutes ago (25 at that point). When I clicked on that, and it took me to the compare revisions page, it showed that the last time anything had saved was at 14:58. I thought at first it was a clock difference, but no, the time in hours in parentheses said it had been two hours ago, and the version was only a word shorter than the one that ended up posting.
I’ve read elsewhere on the site that autosaves are supposed to happen every two minutes, but that is definitely not the case here. There were only three autosaves on a post I’ve been working on for nine days. I figured that it must be an autosave glitch. I tried to figure out how to report a bug, but couldn’t find a place to do so.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
