Autosave oddness

    When I edit posts, which I do often, I’m frequently getting the following message:

    There is an autosave of this page that is more recent than the version below. View the autosave.

    This message will appear the second I open the post, or just randomly while editing. It makes no sense whatsoever. How can an autosave be more recent than the last saved version if the post had been closed immediately after saving? I don’t navigate away from pages without saving them. what’s going on here?

    I have never found the autosave feature to be useful although others do find it to be. I cannot help you but maybe another Volunteer or Staff can help you.
