  autosaving isn’t going off. I am unable to save my post any other way or press publish

  Hi there,
  
  If you have intermittent network issues, there are times when the autosave feature becomes stuck. If you see this I would absolutely recommend manually copying any content you are working on. Then, if you refresh the edit page, the autosave feature should work again for you.
  
  But, yes, if you ever see this happening, the first thing I would do each time is manually copy your content on the page and paste it somewhere safe.
