availability blog name
-
Hello,
I want to create a new blog. So I went in the “record a new blog” from my account “celluletemoin”. I gave a name to this new blog “lecriducloitre” which was available so I could create my blog. But then I realized it was more appropriate to create a new count for this new blog independent from the account “celluletemoin”. So I deleted the blog “lecriducloitre” that I had created and when I wanted to use that name for a new account, I was told that this name was no longer available!
Is there a deadline for a name can be reused after removal of a blog? How long is this possible?
It took us a long time to choose the name and the idea that I made myself unavailable enrages me! Is anyone could help me? Thank you and good holiday season.

Once you delete a name it is gone forever even to you – you could try contacting the Staff directly and pleading temporary insanity or something like that – but I have never seen that happen – but that is your only slim chance – WordPress.com does not reuse or recycle names.

Deleted subdomain (blogname) cannot be restored for any reason. We have several warnings about this and you need to confirm the deletion to proceed. We make sure that you understand the process and there is no way of going back.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/delete-blog/Please pick a different name, and if there is nothing available that you want you can look into getting a custom domain name for a fee. For more information on the upgrade, please read: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/

You can register a whatever.wordpress.com URL and then use the paid Domain Mapping upgrade to apply a new name, Whatever.com to it.
