Availability of a blog name

  Hello,

  I wanted to create a second blog from my account. I gave a name to this new blog : grouiktrotters.wordpress.com. But then I realized it was more appropriate to create a new account for this new blog because I don’t want my two blogs to have the same username. So I immediately deleted the blog grouiktrotters.wordpress.com and when I wanted to use that blog name with a brand new account, I was told that this blog name was no longer available… After 24 hours waiting it is still not available. Is there a deadline for a name to be reused or is it definitively impossible to reuse it ?? It will be a travel blog and we think about the name for a long time… We would be so much disappointed if it is not available anymore…
