Available themes not showing

    I am currently attempting to select a new theme for my blog, from the ‘WPAdmin – Appearances – Themes’ menu. Only a small selection of the themes are currently visible, such as ‘Ecto’, ‘Edin’ and ‘Twenty Sixteen’, whilst the majority are only showing as grey boxes, for example ‘Dara’, ‘Editor’ and ‘Karuna’. Is there an issue on my end which I will need to resolve to view the other available themes?

    Hi there,

    Please check if you able to select the theme from the new Calypso interface:
    https://wordpress.com/themes/rwclarke.wordpress.com

    You might be experiencing browser issue and see if the following steps help you:

    1. Please log out of your account, and clear your browser cache and cookies. Also, make sure third-party cookies are enabled in your browser.

    Solve Common Browser Issues

    Then log back in and see if the error goes away.

    2. Do you have another browser installed that you could try?

    Hi and thank you for your response!
    I have already tried on both Google Chrome & Microsoft Edge, and had no luck. Frustratingly, the same issue seems to be appearing still after following your instructions regarding cache & cookies, and also on the Calypso interface?
    Thankfully I am still able to ‘live preview’ the themes however.
    Is there anything else that could provide a fix?

    Sorry to hear it is not working for you as expected.

    Could you please confirm your website address?

    Also, please take a screenshot of the screen where you are having a problem.

    Upload it to an image sharing service like imgur or upload it to your media library so that the staff can have a look.

    Thankfully I am still able to ‘live preview’ the themes however.

    Are you able to preview themes like ‘Dara’, ‘Editor’ and ‘Karuna’? You mentioned earlier that they are greyed out.

    Hi there,

    I don’t see any themes greyed out as you describe, on either the WP-Admin or My Site ->Theme showcases.

    Can you please take a screen shot of what you’re seeing and upload to your media library so we can see what you’re seeing?

    Also please check your browser console for any errors on those pages, and also take a screen shot of those if applicable:
