How can I validate my blog to AvantLink, if I am not able to post Javascript to my html blog page ?
I have no plan to put banners, just links when I post interesting stuff.

We cannot post JavaScript for security reasons and only limited affiliate link posting is allowed here. Text links only all that is allowed. Please read http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/
1. WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.
2. Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.

No blogger initiated advertising is allowed on WordPress.com blogs. The only blogs that can be equipped for ecommerce are those with the $299. per year business upgrade. http://en.support.wordpress.com/ecommerce/
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains.

Fantstic…
One more good reason to move to an independent platform that I control and not suffer all the analytics & other limitations wordpress.com is putting on me. I can do less & less with my blog, instead of more & more..
I don’t want to do any advertising, Affiliate is not advertising & product review bloggers that have affiliate are very comon.
Yet, I guess wordpress.com has to put the link somewhere..
Time to move on.

If you are into making money online then that’s done by spending some and it starts with hiring a web hosted for about $125. per year. A self-hosted WordPress site means you can install on a web server. You can upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, conduct ecommerce and edit the database. Learn about the differences here. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
