  i don’t know if it’s just me, but I click the browse button, find the avatar I want, crop it, click the crop picture button and I still don’t have an avatar…
  what’s the deal!

  Avatars take a little while to show up everywhere; they usually appear in the forums first, and then across WordPress blogs. If you change your avatar again, we have a thread where you can test it.
