Avatar deletion/correction
-
When I post a link to my website (www.nicstarr.com), a very old avi always appears next to the link. It looks terrible, is out of date, and is not my brand. Therefore I never want to share my link. I can’t even find the old avi here on WordPress or Gravatar so how do I delete it? My WordPress profile shows my correct avi (a star with my name in red). Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

On this comment Nic Starr | February 8, 2015 at 4:18 pm I see the very same image I see as your gravatar in this thread https://0.gravatar.com/avatar/d18d078df0b2d3724317287090a7feea?s=48&d=identicon&r=g

Perhaps you have more than one username account. Is that the case?
If so, provide all the usernames here please. -
I see two username accounts

Thank you for your help.
I’m not sure about that first account. It says it’s been there since 2008. There’s no way that is the case. I’ve only had WP for about 2 years and Nic Starr is my pen name which only came into existence in 2014.
I am not sure I understand how posting a link to my website (which is under nicstar000) would use an avi associated with the other account, however I tried to log into it but don’t know the password or the associated email. I tried a password refresh but no email came through.
I am also very nervous about clearing all my browsing history and what that would mean to my other sites I use.

I think I’ve solved it! I went into the individual site Settings (via the WP Admin dashboard), not the new way (which I hate), and found the individual avi there (as opposed to the profile level one). I’ll check my next feed across to FB to see if the change was effective, but from the looks of things, it will be. Thanks again.

Hi @nicstar000,
I see the star and your name next to your personal avatar. This blog’s avatar (blavatar) shows Two Men. Did you need it to show your Nic Starr avatar instead?
