Avatar info?

  I am a local wordpress user, and I’d like to implement the same avatar system (upload in profile) as is used here in wordpress.com on my site. What plugins could i use to do that?

  If by “local wordpress user” you mean you are self hosted, you need to be at: http://wordpress.org/support

  If you have a wordpress.com blog, we do not use plugins here.

  i know that. but whoever is at the backend of this thing knows what their using and if it’s something I can use as well, then I would appreciate being pointed to where I can find it. Thanks.

  We don’t use plugins here so we can’t help you. You have to pose the question in the forums where you might get an answer.

  Sorry to disappoint, but vivianpaige and I are volunteers. We are not privy to any information about the backend. Perhaps contacting support might suffice.

  And there are several avatar/gravitar plugins at wordpress.com
