Avatar not displaying

  I uploaded my avatar image, cropped it, clicked on “Crop Image”, and was shown the “All done!” page with the three sizes of avatar image. However, when I post, my avatar doesn’t show up.

  it takes a while for the avatars to load. try waiting a day or something.

  Also, in most themes avatars don’t show up on posts at all. They’ll show up on comments. But as tanukii says, it can take several hours.

  No, its not all that rediculous, the Server needs to load it on. Be patient.

  It is technically called a gravatar at wordpress.

  Yes and no. There is WP.com’s original avatar system and thre’s gravatar which will eventually be fully integrated with each other. They are not yet the same.
