avatar or name link in recent comments

yes I did read this post on the same:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/i-just-get-the-url-is-not-valid-and-cannot-be-loaded?replies=3#post-187965BUT could not respond as it was closed.
My question:
Why would you make a hyperlink to a ehhh nothing ???
Lets fix this so it makes sense.1) if the commenter did link his ‘name’ to a URL that should be linked. I agree
2) if there is no link and the user did not leave the comment when signed in there should not be a hyperlink.
2) if the user commented while signed in but did not link his ‘name’ with web address it should link to the account just as it does in the author widget ie http://blogname.wordpress.com/author/authorname/If this makes sense to you as well respond and say so
If this makes sense to wordpress.com staff… wel eh perhaps add this as a bugThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The 2nd 2: Some people do not want their blogs linked to their usernames, so they purposely do not do that under users > my profile. I for one want the ability to control whether my username links to one of my blogs or not. It should always be the user’s choice, not something forced upon them.

thescaredpath,
I understand that one should not be forced to add a website in the contact info section. If one chooses not to, the name can be linked to (let be be more clear)
http://blogname_the_user_commented_on.wordpress.com/author/authorname/This link would show all post authored by him on that blog (where he commented).
When the user comments it is made very clear that he is signed as xxx.If there are now post by this author or it could be an empty page but better would be if the hyperlink on the name was conditional to if the user had post on this blog.
However there is a much simpler solution to fix this bug.
option 2) No website entered in contact info no linkNote it is this way when you comment, not signed in, and you do not enter a website address.
It clearly is a bug, and I realize even why. Let me explain. When you go to your profile and you view the section contact info / website it automatically pre-populates http://
This can not be deleted.
Its just that somebody tried to be smart and enter that http:// text to remind people that the should include this when adding a website. The problem is that this should be removed if the user does not add any extra info in this website address box.Besides that there is another “error” in this widget.
If when I author posts I can choose to “Display name publicly as” (from profile / name section) why are my comments not following the same setting.Anyway I hope this helps the developers.
Cheers
