Avatar set up blocking Settings page
-
Dumb question, new here and I can’t find this answer.
Under Settings > General I’m trying to change my tagline but the Avatar screen set up is in the way with no apparent way to delete/move it. Please help.
thanks!

That’s a bug that they need to fix. Is any part, even a couple letters of your tagline visible? If so, triple-click on those letters and it should highlight the entire string of text and you can then type in the new text although you won’t be able to see all of it. Then click the save changes button.

I just sent a ticket off to support on this so hopefully they will get the page redesigned so this does not happen.

Oh I found it on the Window menu, but all it does for me is change the size of the window and doesn’t really zoom in or out.

Thank you :) No luck on triple clicking, don’t see a zoom out function, will wait for support to fix the bug.

Do you know what the resolution on your monitor is? Also, you can try maximizing your browser window if it isn’t. The blog picture box is floating and will follow the left browser sidebar.
The other thing you could try is to grab your browser title bar and move it to where part of the left side is obscured at the left side of the monitor, then stretch the browser window over to the right. Then after changing the text, resize your browser window and drag it back to where you can see the entire window.

Sorry, in the first paragraph it should say “The blog picture box is flating and will follow the “right” browser sidebar.
