Avatars (again – sorry!)

I got totally spoilt the last time I asked a question, so I’m trying my luck again!!! Can u tell me why my avatar does not appear on comments that I make on blogger.com sites, please? Or is it something to do with my not having their site.

Some worpress blogs turn off the avatars. Does any of the other posters on those blogs show avatars?

Oh, sorry. You said blogger – no, I imagine that would not work. Sorry – someone else will explain, I’m sure.

If Blogger does not host your avatar, it wouldn’t show up there. Some blogger blogs do have options for Open ID, Gravatar, etc, and you can use those but not all of those will actually show your avatar either.

Someone help?
My Avatar doesn’t show up everytime I comment on mine and others site.
All it says is, it says Choose the part of the image you want to use as your avatar.
AND NOTHING SHOWS UP! I’m getting really irrated with this. I hate the new way WordPress is … Grr! -
That “Choose your avatar” bit is a basic image editor, implying that the image you’ve loaded to your media library is too large. You can do reduce it’s size in at least two ways. You can use the square as it is and place it over the part of the image you want to use as your image, or you can stretch the box to the size of the image you uploaded, and the entire image will be shrunk to the size appropriate for an avatar. In either case, you have to save your changes.
