Avatars for commenters

  How do people who make comments on my blog, but who do not have a wordpress blog themselves, get an avatar to appear next to their name? I get a few requests to add them but I can’t see how I can do it for them at this end.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  They can either register at Gravatar.com or at WordPress.com and choose the “No Blog” option. Then they upload them.

  Note that some themes won’t display avatars in comments at all.

  You’re welcome. A Gravatar will be visible not only on Wp.com but also all over the web in places where they are enabled.
