Average Blog post size

  Trying to figure out how big an average blog post is to determine what the amount of space I would need if I upgrade plans for my blog. Also, if I reach my limit of space, what happens to previous blog posts?

  The storage space is for uploaded files and images. I don’t think it includes text entered on posts and pages. Even if text counts against your space quota I wouldn’t worry much because text doesn’t take that much space (a 500-page plain-text book is roughly 1MB).

  You can always purchase more space. WordPress.com Premium includes another 10 GB of extra storage, for a total of 13 GB and WordPress.com Business includes unlimited storage space.

  Alternatively, you can host your photos on third-party services like Flickr and Cloudup. Both can embed nicely on WordPress.com.
