Avi Theme not showing pages

I changed from the default theme to AVi. Pages are not showing any more, am not sure what to do. Have looked at dashboard, can not find anyway to convert back to default theme. So, blog is only showing main page with posts, no about section. Suggestions?

Hi. The default theme would be Twenty Fifteen. You can change the theme from the dashboard at Appearance > Themes.
Pages are not showing any more, am not sure what to do.
You can add a custom menu. On the Ari (not Avi) theme support page, scroll down to the section titled Custom Appearance.

Thank you… I installed twenty fifteen… still not seeing any of my pages. Not sure what I am supposed to do next.. unless I start over. Ideas?

You’ve got to add a custom menu. I provided the links to the Custom Menus and Ari theme support pages in the previous post. Please use those links and learn how to set up a custom menu. If, after consulting those pages, you have further questions, then feel free to ask them here.

Actually, I was a little confused there. The instruction I provided was for the Ari theme only, while you were referring (after switching back to the default theme) to the Ari theme. Luckily, the same instruction evidently applies to Twenty Fifteen, which doesn’t display a menu by default, even though the lack of a default menu is not mentioned in the Twenty Fifteen support page.
Note that with Twenty Fifteen you can also add menu item descriptions. From the support page,
To start adding descriptions to your menus visit the Menus page in your dashboard and use the Screen Options tab to “Show advanced menu properties”. Select “Description” there to start editing menu descriptions (and a lot of other things).

I meant you were referring to the Twenty Fifteen theme, after switching back to it.

I took a chance that it would work with Twenty Fifteen, and I managed to figure it out.. so, my blog is back in business again.. but, I did follow what you were saying and that you were talking about the Ari theme. At any rate, it was all helpful.. this is all new to me..but it is much better now!
