  There are no WordPress.com sponsored awards. They are all blogger generated backlink meme schemes. A blog meme is a viral game where you generate links and relationships through asking other bloggers to participate. There are many blog awards and all are memes resembling chain letters designed to get backlinks under the guise of blog awards.

  I am referring to the buttons that say how many likes and follows you have. The numbers are very wrong. Will ask staff for help.

  Okay. Did you know that likes and shares are misleading when you are talking about page view stats? Your followers and anyone with a WordPress.com blog who is logged into WordPress.com can “like” and “share” your posts in several locations such as the Reader without ever clicking into your blog and creating a page view stat.
