  Hello,

  I am trying to change the background of my theme “journalist” to dark grey or black… Can anyone give me any pointers?

  Doesn’t look like you have the paid CSS upgrade. (Further, it looks like you have embedded the blog into a website that is not hosted here.)

  It looks to me your bachground color has turned to gray.
