Back dating entries

  I have a few posts that I would like to making but I would like to date them in the past (late July/early August 2010). How do I do this?

  In the Publish module (where you edit the post)
  Look at Publish immediately and click Edit
  That should allow you to set whatever date you like.
  Publish.
