back further in this forum

  how do you go back further than the last 4 hours in this forum. I had asked a question about my blog. I’m very new to wordpress so any help would be appreciated. I guess I’lll just ask again. How can I set my blog up like a “forum” like this. With a list of topics and replies, etc. in other words, exactly like this.
  Also I never did get my front page to be static, even though I tried to follow the directions on this site. apparently you can still leave comments. Any ideas why that is and how I can get it to be static? But really what I want is a forum type thing like this.

  Just click your username at the very top of the forum:

  Welcome username! | Log Out

  You will find all discussion threads that you replied to or started. Simply select the one you want, and add another comment to bring it back to the front page.

  As to your question, a forum like this is not possible as part of your wordpress.com blog, only as an external service. There are paid options, like vBulletin, and free services, but none of those come to my mind right now.

  oh ok thanks. so you mean I basically can’t have a page structured like aforum
  like a forum, only leave posts and have people leave comments, hunh?

  You can link to a free or paid forum service from your wp.com blog.

  But wp.com does not have any kind of forum feature. Only posts and comments.
