Back here using windows 8 and IE 10

    Trying to write a blog with pictures, which I managed to do previously, now is impossible. I write and try to insert media and it inserts at the start as a series of words etc and never where I want it.
    Just unable to do what I previously did with this new computer. Spent 2 hours trying and I have given up. Just want to write paragraphs and insert pictures at the end of them – really simple stuff that I did before, but now it does not work.
    Very frustrated and the blog I promised to send to my friends will not be going out! HELP!

    I will answer my own question.

    There seems to be an issue with IE10 here, as I downloaded Firefox and tried again. The pictures still appeared as a series of words/symbols but in the correct place and when the blog was posted they showed up as pictures in the correct place in the blog, so a result of sorts.
    Is there an Issue at WordPress with IE10 and Windows 8 – or is it just me?
