  I’ve read about FREE backlink software. Is it worth it, and will it produce results?

  There is no FTP access to WordPress.com blogs and we cannot install any software into them. That being said, do not ever use free traffic and/or free backlinks software on any site. Google’s algorithms will catch you out and hurl your indexed content to where the sun don’t shine or ban your site. If your content is not unique enough or of high enough quality to attract backlinks naturally then take up another hobby.
