I am trying to go into wp-admin and it won’t let me, I was in once already but can’t get back in

Hi,

If you have the WordPress.com Business Plan, it should appear in the sidebar of the “new” version of WordPress.com Dashboard. It says “WP Admin”

Then, you’ll be directed to the admin. If that doesn’t work, can you please tell me what browser your using and Ill be able to help!

What is the site you are trying to gain access to? There are no sites connected to the account you are contacting us from. That may be the reason you are unable to log in – you’re most likely logged into a different WordPress.com account.

I asked HostGator to install WP which they did, I have the username and password but can't log

72nd.co is a wordprress.ORG software install on paid hosting, hosted by CyrusOne
Name Servers:

That site is not on wordpress.COM servers and we cannot help you with it.

You contact Hostgator for hosting issues and post to the wordpress.ORG support forum for software issues.

WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, support docs and support forums, run different theme versions of themes with the same names, and many people get confused about the two. Hi @ccowley1963, right. You have an account here with us (you registered a few days ago.)

But your site, the72nd.co, is not using WordPress.com as its host, so we at WordPress.com would not be able to unlock access for you.

If you have access to your server, these instructions from WordPress.org can help you regain access to your self-managed site:

Please work with your host to be sure you have backups before editing files or changing your database. Good luck!
