Back to the .wordpres.com subdomain

Hello! Can you help us with the reverse process to restore the .wordpress.com version of the current site? Recently the site owner installed an analytics plugin and the name changed. He wants it to be like the beginning with the .wordpress.com version (https://masinapotrivita .wordpress.com) . I read on forum that you should be contacted. Can you help us please? Thanks!

Hi there @danieldumitruunumai
I assume that you have a plan and that’s how the address changed.
I would recommend contacting them with the LiveChat support as per this previous staff response https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/why-did-url-change-to-wpcomstaging-2/#post-3614359You can contact them here https://wordpress.com/help/contact
Good luck!

Thanks!

Hi there,
The site has a wpcomstaging address, because it is on our Business Plan, and Business Plan sites use a different hosting infrastructure than the rest of the sites on WordPress.com.
To have the site load at the WordPress.com address again, it needs to be reverted to a regular site, to remove the changes that were triggered when you installed plugins on that site. Note that this will also remove any plugins you had installed – if you want to use plugins, the site must have a example.wpcomstaging.com address rather than a example.wordpress.com address.
We can only revert the site at the request of the site owner, and the
danieldumitruunumaiaccount you used to post here is neither the owner, nor even a user on that site, so we cannot do this at your request. If you also own the other account that owns this site, please log in as that account, and open a new support request at https://wordpress.com/help/contact for help with this. As that site is on the business plan, the account that owns the site has access to live chat support.
