  How can I make a back up of our work, especially to my PC or an external hard drive? I do not have the business or commerce plan, so trying to add the updraft plus plugin doesn’t work…

  Hey there,

  Have you tried the Tools >Export section of the Menu in WP-Admin?
  It should allow you to export all content or even selected content like specific posts or pages and the media library. It will then send a link to your email so you should check there after.

  The options are:
  1.Export content
  Export all (or specific) text content (pages, posts, feedback) from your site.

  2.Select specific content to export
  Use the options below to select a specific content type to download. You can select Posts, Pages, or Feedback, and filter by the listed parameters. After making your selection you can download your content in an .xml file.

  3.Export media library
  Download all the media library files (images, videos, audio and documents) from your site.
