Back up all content

How do I backup all the content of my wordpress hosted site?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
-
@rdvelazquez you can do that by exporting the content and importing it into another installation. Here’s how:
The export file alone will be just your data. As long as you don’t delete the images here, you can import them later if you should need to restore the site.

@rdvelazquez we also noticed your domain has expired; did you want to keep that on this site?

Hi Supernova, thanks for your response. I would like to move my domain to another host but I need the authorization code for that and I cant find that on the wordpress manage account page.
How can I get the authorization code?
-
@rdvelazquez if you will log in as the user who owns the domain, you will find the option to transfer it. I’d recommend renewing it first, pointing it to the new host, then transferring it.

@supernovia at this moment we don’t have access to that account.
I’m trying to get in contact with that user.is there any other way to do it?
-
@rdvelazquez only the domain owner can transfer the domain, otherwise we would run into issues with people stealing each other’s names. :(
Is the owner away or have you lost access to the account? If you paid for the upgrade and can get the transaction ID, we can help you gain access that way. We would not want to do that over a public forum, though. So if you can get the transaction ID (here’s how) let us know and we’ll reach out via ticket.
