  my site is down and I can not access my backup through Jet pack

  Hey there,

  Many thanks for reaching out.

  This site is not hosted with us on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress software at another hosting provider. This is a bit different to a site hosted on WordPress.com. You can read about these differences here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/ – so we can’t help with this.

  The critical error is usually caused by a plugin on the site, and so ideally you would need to deactivate the plugin that’s causing the issue. Have you made any changes to the site with regards to plugins?

  Moving forward, Jetpack does offer back ups for when this kind of issue happens in the future, and these can be activated here: https://jetpack.com/upgrade/backup/
