Backdated Posts Out of Order

I am migrating some entries from my web site back onto my WordPress blog. I have backdated them to earlier this year, but they are showing up at the bottom of my home page out of chronological order, and they are wider than the other entries. I assume this is some kind of formatting issue, but haven’t been able to figure out what the problem is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I’ve called for staff attention. Staff will respond here.
If your front page is displaying the posts page. then it does seem like there might be a formatting error causing some problems, including the ones that you mention. Another issue that suggests a formatting error is that none of the links in the main content area below the header navigation menu work (titles, meta data, links in post content, etc.), until we get to the wider posts beginning with “Don’t Have an Ulcer, Man.” However, the “uncategorized” link at the top of the sidebar widget area works.
I wonder if there’s a formatting error in the sidebar widget? Is the “uncategorized” link in a text widget? If so, what’s the code in the widget?

Thank you for the response. I removed the sidebar widgets, and everything is now the same width, however my posts are still out of chronological order.

I see what you are referencing. There are a handful of posts that appear to be out of order. You mentioned you backdated them. What were the original dates of those posts?

They were originally posted on another site. I copy/pasted the entries into my WordPress and then backdated them. All of them except the top one ended up out of chronological order.

You mentioned you backdated them. What were the original dates of those posts?

I originally posted all of those on same date, which I believe was December 28th. I copied the text from another site into a new blog entry for each one and backdated each one.

I am seeing the same issue, and the most current blog posts aren’t even showing up in the blog list, so I’m following this thread…

I don’t see any posts out of order on your site now. If you’re still seeing them, can you please give the titles of the posts, along with their publication dates? Does clearing your browser cache make any difference?
