  Hi i am starting a new mommy blog in which i wish to include some entries from an older blog and column, as they will be relevant here too. But i want them to show as older entries, as they will appear odd if they show as if they have just been written. I could change the date settings in blogger, but I am not able to do it on wordpress. For instance, I am a mother of a toddler, but there are posts i want to include from when i was pregnant. If they show as current posts, that would be odd, right?

  You can change the date on a Post – this link is for scheduling in the future but the change a date should work the same for a Post you want to date way back – change the date to way back then hit Publish. You can also change the date on an existing Post the same way – but that will break the old link and upset Google with a page not found 404 error.
