Backdating a post not working

  Hi, I’m trying to backdate some posts in WordPress. I have change the date it in the ‘publish’ section or quick edit, but on preview today’s date is still there.
  Can you help?

  I have resolved this. Can you please delete this? I didn’t want my full name on screen either. Thanks.
