backgound image not transparent in Explorer
-
Hi there
I’m using the theme Clean Home on my blog http://main.bellx1.com/
The background image I’ve placed using custom CSS becomes helpfully transparent under the main body on all browsers but Explorer, where it remains opaque…
Is there a way of encoding the transparency in the CSS?Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You answered your own question really: Internet Explorer. Only IE8 and IE9 understand transparency, but only if you use their specific code when doing the transparency. Why would IE want to be compliant with web standards? [/rant]
The following would be what you would add to #wrapper to accommodate IE.
filter:alpha(opacity=88); -

Aaaahhhh! Firebug won’t accept it anymore either.
The world is turning its back on IE.
Thanks devblog.

You are welcome.
Too bad all those diehard IE users are missing out on so much seriously cool stuff that can be done now a days. They miss out on border radii too.
