  background image stay one size

  I do not see a background image on your blog. You upload a background image here > Appearance > Background

  If you want to have featured images in posts appearing in the featured post slider across the top of the blog then you have to set featured images. Have you read the theme description at “Featured Content Section” here? http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/superhero/

  You need to Create a post with a featured image that’s at least 960px wide, set it as a featured image and give the featured post the tag you declared under Settings → Reading → Featured Content.

  it is on the left side on the page, when it is maximum, the image is there, but if you make the web browser small it the image goes away? that is what i need help with.

  If so then put that logo in a text widget and display it in the sidebar because it’s never going to display where you indicate.

  Superhero does not have a full width header image. The full width images are in the featured post slider.

  You can select an image to be shown at the top of your site by uploading from your computer or choosing from your media library. > Appearance > Header
  After selecting an image you will be able to crop it.
  Suggested width is 480 pixels. Suggested height is 150 pixels. http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/superhero/
