  How would I go about just changing the background of my blog…
  Not where my posts go but the outer background..

  It would require at least some familiarity with editing CSS, and the paid CSS upgrade. Go to the FAQ’s and search for “CSS” to learn more about the upgrade and also to find online tutorials, information and such.
